Part 1

I am separating this into parts as this is a large scope issue. Understand that what I am going to discuss is not academic posturing or Walter Mittie arm chair fantasy, but things our Clan has actually put into practice or is in the process of implementing. I do not expect everyone to agree with our thoughts and actions, nor do I care. Reading others’ works is like panning for gold. You sort through lots of sand and silt to get some dust and the occasional nugget. My hope is that for those on a similar thought and path, these articles will provide a lot of dust and nuggets both. The people I recommended in my first piece by name are high nugget thinkers and writers, although there are many more besides them. Whatever you find useful, shape it to fit your tribe and situation. Now on to the main conversation.

This scenario we are seeing develop has happened before. A house cleaning is about to happen. I have heard it referred to as a Tribulation event in more than one ancient source. It is probably as good a term as any. To weather this event, not only survive but prosper in the aftermath, requires an understanding of the structure and purpose to our reality. Reality is a spiritual aspect that bridges through mind to manifest in this material realm. The material acts as a school for spiritual learning through experiences within the same. Our entire existence is possible only because of the Divine (for lack of a better term) giving us being. The more in harmony with that essence we become, the more powerful within self we become. Star Wars talked about being strong in the Force; Nicaean Christians talk about being filled with the Holy Spirit; The Tao discusses being filled with Chi; These are all different expressions of the same concept. Gaining in this area gives grounding and stability, as well as internal power, especially in times like these. It doesn’t matter if you are whatever school bus brand spiritual belief system, get tight with it in whatever way it helps you bond with the Divine. If it is not helping, time to rethink your affiliation. This is a spiritual event manifesting into material. Respect others free will; act in love; use critical thinking skills in dealing with events coming your way; make your relationship with the Divine your main emphasis; treat others as you would like to be treated; be honorable; remember your dreams; show gratitude, humility, compassion, and empathy. Be polite, kind, and generous. You reap what you sow is a reality.

You then need to find others of like qualities and begin building your tribe (or as we Celts call it, your Clan). This is not a lone wolf event. Humans have been tribal since the beginning for good reason. It is not in and of itself a bad thing at all. Not everyone you meet, even if a decent Joe, is going to be a good tribe member. You can have other tribes that your tribe can be near and not war if there are enough common grounds and mutual respect. Think of the Iroquois Confederation, the German Principalities, the initial States that seceded from Britain, The Confederate States that attempted to secede from Washington D.C., the Lakota, to name just a few. Racial unity within the tribe is a good idea. Common spiritual school bus is a good idea. Common language is a must. Mixture of skills is a must. About 30 extended families is a good size to get started for several reasons that will be discussed later.

As an example that we have developed, our Clan is heavy Celtic bloodlines (Irish, Scottish, and Welsh for those not familiar with the term). Being in the United States Empire we do have some other European based bloodlines intermixed as well as some minor Indigenous Tribal bloodlines. We would be described as “white”. We embrace a spiritual outlook similar to the Celtic Christian Church and the Druids (not to be confused with some modern LARPers claiming to be the same) that preceded it. More detail can be provided for those curious on a separate venue. We are structured similar to a stock based corporation with various Guilds for production. Everyone is part of the defense of the Clan. Pacifism is not allowed. We are very decentralized with a focus on helping each individual be the greatest them they can be. Spiritual, mental, and physical fitness are formatted into the work format. Where money is needed we use precious metals based coinage; copper, silver, and gold to be precise. Barter is the predominate form of trade. We are ultimately going to be totally off grid. Radio is one of our main external communication venues. All children are home schooled. More details on our structure can also be discussed on a separate venue.
